To use, simply place the Mariner F2O directly in the sea water and tether the filter to the raft or stationary object. As water flows into the pouch by osmosis, salt and other contaminants are kept outside the filter. The desalinator SEA RECOVERY AQUA MATIC XL 2800GPD is a reverse osmosis plant in compact or modular configuration with flow rate 442lt/h. The World Health Organisation recommends at least one litre of fresh water per person per day to maintain hydration. Obviously, that figure is for survival conditions, not summer vacation. The 442lt/h Sea Recovery desalinator can be supplied in a compact or modular configuration depending on the customer's needs, allowing the use of the reverse osmosis even on boats or extremely narrow premises. Product Groups
When using steam from existing sources (coal/nuclear power plant, exhaust scubbers/arc furnaces) to desalinate, there are several choices. The simplest method is to run depleted steam from a power plant into cooling towers, and have a separate desalination plant using high steam to make up for the lost water. Vacuum desalination offers an alternative, where we can use depleted steam to make water instead of burning extra fuel to make high-steam. However, vacuum desalination requires many times more desalinators to work, and it's not obvious how much it costs / saves. The automatic pressure regulation system the desalinator uses allows the osmosis to automatically balance pressure levels according to any water condition. The reverse osmosis type seawater desalination machine requires high pressure, and power consumption is high.
